Facilitating 'Steps to Freedom' -1 day training.
This training is to be completed in order to deliver the steps to freedom as a facilitator or co-facilitator. This can be a standalone training for experienced facilitators or added on to the best practice training for those with less experience.
The 1 day training includes practical training to learn how to run the programme using the handbook and journals. Practicing the activities with examples of how to facilitate each activity in a trauma informed and anti-oppressive way. The training will be interactive, using case studies, role play, and reflection to build practical skills and confidence.
For professionals working with survivors but with little or no experience of facilitating groups we recommend completing our 'Best Practice in Survivor Recovery Programmes' 1 day training first. Focusing on trauma-informed practice, group dynamics, and safeguarding. 1 day course £250 Launching in 2026. This can be combined with the Steps to Freedom Training at a reduced rate of £450
