This winter, safety is the most precious gift a woman or child escaping domestic abuse can receive.

For many of us, a closed door means nothing more than privacy. For a woman who has fled abuse, it can mean the first night in a long time that she isn't afraid.

As the nights draw in and Christmas gets closer, that feeling of safety matters more than ever. For families rebuilding their lives after abuse, this season can bring extra pressure, from financial worries to the pain of starting over with little or nothing.

With your help, we will make sure no family faces it alone.

Your gift will help us provide safe, secure accommodation and specialist support for women and children in danger. It will also help us give every family in our care:

  • Food, clothing and toiletries, the essentials everyone needs

  • Christmas gifts for women and children

  • A Christmas party to share with others who understand

  • A Christmas Day meal, enjoyed together in a safe and welcoming home
